A curious note was posted with the article on Playbill.com:
And while our Broadway run will come to an end this January, Spring Awakening will continue to touch audiences across the country, through our national tour, and around the world, with productions soon to open in London, Vienna, Toronto, Helsinki and Seoul."
Are we getting our own sit down production? I had assumed that Mirvish was bringing it as a part of a National Tour and it would only be here for a couple of months. Interesting if true but another failure for an attempt at a long running show. I doubt it will last. It's too bad we didn't get Wicked like Chicago. That would have lasted for a few years.
