Moving day

... and I don't think Sadie could be MORE helpful.

I caught her chewing onthe vacuum cord. Thank god it was unplugged. She won't stay in her bouncer and she screams when I'm not holding her.
I feel like we've reached new territory here. I can no longer turn my back on her because she gets into EVERYTHING!!!
Help!!!

I'm back..

Thank-you for your concern and kind words.
I'm feeling better, I think. At least motivated to be social.
Our condo has been sold. In the process we've caused ourselves to be homeless for 10 days since we couldn't line up our closing dates. Our ambitious real estate agent thought we'd sell in under a week so when our first offer came in 2 weeks after listing we accepted it. Did I mention we'd bought our house with no condition for the sale of our condo? Yeah, just a little bit of stress! The upside is that we're going to be spending part if our "in-between" time at Mont Tremblant in Quebec.
In PPD news, I've been to my doctor to discuss my anxiety and depression. I've been put back on the higher dose of the anti-depressant/anxiety drug I was taking pre-pregnancy. Apparently the low dose I'd been on may have been contributing to my issues since it could have been making my unbalanced levels even more unbalanced. Why this was never raised when my GP suggested the reduction I'll never know (she's on mat leave). Because of the increase, I'm no longer breastfeeding. It's been at least 3 weeks since I've stopped and AF arrived on the weekend. I'm actually kind of glad things are getting back to "normal". Hopefully all of my crazy hormones will settle.
I have so many things I want to write about but I never feel like I have the time. I want to write about how nervous the move has made me (are we doing the right thing?) or how Sadie has taken to sleeping wrapped around my arm like a koala (is co-sleeping safe when she's mobile?). I'd like to get around to posting the blog I wrote about our hospital stay back in December or the share the entry about our "must have" baby products I wrote months ago! I want to get around to everyones blogs and comment again (google reader should make commenting easier!) and I also want to increase my blogroll.
One day at a time I guess.

Boo

I am not a happy. I don't even want to write about it. Please Please let this whole moving thing be over with soon because I'm clearly not able to cope with the stress right now. I think I may even have PPD.
I'm so sad.
I want to get back to blogging but I'm not feeling very positive right now. ):

Going home

I'm going home tomorrow and I couldn't be happier. My time on the road has had it's moments but for the most part it has been trying. I was at my friends condo for 4 nights before I noticed cigarette smoke pouring into the unti via the bathroom vent. I hadn't noticed it the first 3 nights but I wasn't sticking around to find our if it would stop. The place smelled like a bowling alley (from my childhood). I've been at my dads since I left her place. I told him I was coming and didn't give him a lot of choice!! My step-mom has been great and has really enjoyed having Sadie. She's also helped out but my dad has been pretty miserable and stopped talking to me yesterday. It's my fault because I snapped at him when he was bragging about my brother and saying he isn't spoiled because he spends his own money. I completely disagree with that logic. My brother should be saving the money he makes performing but instead he buys whatever his heart desires. What does that teach him? He's cried 8 times over the past 5 days. 8 times!!! He's 11 years old. It's total BS that he still acts like that. All he has to do is cry and he gets what he wants!! Not spoiled, eh?
I digress.
I'm going home and I can't wait to see D. I can't wait to sleep in my own bed and I can't wait to get kicked out for a bunch of viewings (so our condo sells ASAP).

I'm here...

and there... and everywhere.
Things have been very hectic. We've been under renovation and our condo is for sale. I haven't been home since last Friday in an attempt to keep Sadie from the mess and now the disruption of viewings. I want to go home so badly!!! Were really hoping we get an offer by Wednesday at which point I'm going home regardless of where we stand. I miss D and I'm sick of being homeless although Sadie seems to be doing really well with our new lifestyle. She's sleeping so well and maintaining her schedule perfectly. I think part of that is the fact that we are now co-sleeping 100% and loving it. She's also getting loads of attention during our travels. She's seen Papa, Grandma, Granny-Nanny, Great Grandma (ugh the smoker), Great Nana, 2 great uncles, 2 great aunts, all of her 2nd cousins... Really, the list goes on and on!!!
And in blogland I'm completely up to date with reading but haven't commented anywhere. No time.

I'm other news: We have two teeth coming in! Why is my little boo growing so fast?

Random cute picture:

We've also discovered our toes and LOVE them.

Sweet dreams

House

The inspection went well. There were a couple of surprises but nothing we weren't expecting (roof, electrical). We've accepted the work that needs to be done and we're still buying.
My dad is still being a major ass but I suspect and fear there may be something else behind his anger. Everything seems to turn into an argument and that isn't like him.
I spoke to him last on Wednesday when I begged him to help me move stuff into our storage locker ( he drives a Dodge Ram). His response was "NOT Saturday!!", followed by "NOT Sunday!!!" but it was said with a "you've got to be crazy" undertone. When I tried to explain that we needed the stuff out by Tuesday he proceeded to tell me that we do not need to stage our condo (cue argument I won't bore you with).
Fortunately my agent is coming by to help me move the furniture. That leaves me with everything else and although I got a lot done yesterday it still seems like only the tip of the iceberg!!
I wish I had help. D doesn't drive and one of us has to watch Sadie I wish my dad could get over whatever it is that is making him so cranky because I'm drowning here. Oh and to make it all feel worse my step mom wrote a facebook status saying how much they enjoyed their "lazy Sunday". Really? My Sunday consisted of renting a car, loading the car, driving to our storage locker, unloading the car in the RAIN and being alone for all of it. I can understand my dad saying no to letting us store things at his place and no to us staying there overnight (mildly peeved he said no to that) but sitting on his ass all the while knowing what I was doing was not all that nice of him.
Lesson learned: I will always be there for Sadie. Always.

Present for you...!!

We love our music class so much I thought we'd share some of the music with you. These files are from the CD I purchased at our class and it includes our teacher!

I'm hoping this works as it's my first time sharing this way... If it doesn't work let me know and I'll try again! EDITED to try again!

FYI - All of the songs are pretty simple to figure out the gestures that would go with them (ie. Hands Together, Hands Apart lol). The Grand Old Duke of York is Sadie's FAVOURITE song. If you haven't participated in this song before you bounce the baby up and down based on the lyrics (dramatically). She giggles like crazy at the "neither up nor down" line because you bounce them up and then bounce them down quickly. She loves it!!

She also really loves "One Button, Two Button". I start at her toes and button her up to her nose and then zippppppper all over her in a zig zag.
